Patrons love the Kingfish Thali, praised for its freshness and authenticity, alongside the Lobster Thali, which is a standout dish. The variety of seafood options, such as prawns and bombil, is another highlight among diners. Guests also rave about the Kokum Urrak cocktail, known for its refreshing twist. Many recommend the service, often referencing the staff's warm hospitality and willingness to accommodate special requests. Overall, the combination of flavors, vibrant atmosphere, and communal dining experience creates cherished memories for visitors.

Most Disliked

Some diners note that parking can be an issue, with a cost of £6 for 90 minutes, making it a slight hassle during peak times. A few mention that prices lean toward the higher side for certain dishes, affecting perceptions of value. Additionally, the dinner rush can lead to longer wait times, particularly on weekends. Lastly, while the diverse menu pleases many, some diners desire even more vegetarian options within Goan specialties. However, these minor drawbacks do not overshadow the overall positive experience.

So far it has to be the best restaurant for our Goans. The service is great and the food too. Will have to return to try the Lobster Thali!!

Their fish thali was very good. Alan and the main chef provided special service and kept kitchen open slightly longer for us which was a nice gesture. Prawn and bombil rawa fry starters were fantastic too. There are several fish options for thali such as king fish, modso, prawn etc and I specifically liked king fish more than modso. This place is highly recommended if you are craving for goan fish thali and around in this area.

Visited this place with my family for lunch and had a lovely experience. The ambiance is pleasant and we were warmly welcomed by a member of the staff. We ordered the Prawns Thali and Modso Thali, accompanied by some Goan cocktails. The Urrak cocktail was particularly refreshing. Both Thalis were delicious and full of authentic flavours. The only downside is that it’s a little on the pricey side, and parking can be a bit of an issue — costing £6 for 90 minutes. That said, it’s definitely worth a visit for a good Goan meal.

Me and my friends had a fantastic time at Vailankanni Imperial Lounge in Hounslow. The food, drinks, and music perfectly captures the "Goan vibe" The dishes i ordered are highlights of Goan cuisine and reflect the authentic flavors the restaurant is known for: Beef tough chilli and garlic fry: A classic spicy and tangy Goan dish, typically made with beef tough cooked in a chili and garlic masala. Modso masala rava fry: This likely refers to a semolina-coated fish fry, a very popular coastal preparation. "Modso" is the Goan word for a type of saltwater fish. Reviewers often mention enjoying the crispy, flavorful fish thalis. Bomil masala fry: This is Bombay duck, another staple of Goan seafood cuisine. Frying it with spices and a semolina crust is a common preparation that results in a crispy, delicious dish. Pork pepper fry: Pork dishes, including various pepper and chilli, are a beloved part of Goan cuisine, reflecting its Portuguese heritage.

I recently dined at Vailankanni Imperial Lounge and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely incredible! I ordered the King Fish Goan Special Thali and it instantly transported me back to Goa with its authentic flavors and fresh, perfectly cooked fish. It’s easily the best fish thali I’ve ever had in the UK. The chicken lollipop was equally outstanding; crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Highly highly recommended!
